A Dedicated Five-Person BIM Team, Built Out in Stages for a US Architecture Firm
Dedicated BIM Team | Revit Architecture | United States Client, India Delivery
| Client | US-based architecture firm |
| Engagement Model | Dedicated team on a monthly model, up to 170 hours per consultant per month |
| Team | 5 designated consultants: 4 Revit architecture modelers and 1 3D rendering specialist |
| Scope | BIM architectural services, with MEP and structure outside the scope |
| Delivery | Remote, from eLogicTech's offices in India |
Project Background:
A US architecture firm wanted a production team for its Revit work that it could plan around month after month, rather than arranging help one project at a time. eLogicTech set the engagement up on a monthly model: named consultants, each fully dedicated to the firm for the whole month, working remotely from eLogicTech's offices in India.
The team did not arrive all at once. It started with two Revit architecture modelers in early November 2025 and reached five by April 2026, with each new consultant added as the firm's workload called for it.
The Challenge
A dedicated-team arrangement only works if three things are settled early. The firm needed capacity it could count on every month. It needed to be able to grow the team without reopening the whole agreement each time. And both sides needed to know exactly what the team would and would not be responsible for.
That last point matters more than it sounds. Architectural BIM, MEP and structure can blur together on a live project, and a team that is unclear on its boundaries ends up either under-used or over-stretched.
How the Engagement Was Structured
The agreement answered each of those three needs directly.
CAPACITY Fully Dedicated Monthly Hours
- Each designated consultant was committed to the firm for the entire month, available on every working day in eLogicTech's monthly calendar, for up to 170 hours. Where the workload went beyond that, additional hours could be added.
GROWTH A Team Built in Four Steps
- Two Revit architecture modelers began in early November 2025. A third joined in December 2025, a 3D rendering specialist in February 2026, and a fifth Revit architecture modeler in April 2026. Each addition followed the firm's workload rather than a fixed headcount plan.
FLEXIBILITY Simple to Add, Change or Replace
- Each consultant carried a six-month minimum, after which the arrangement continued month to month. Either side could add or remove consultants with one month's written notice, and where a consultant needed replacing, eLogicTech committed to making every reasonable effort to provide a suitable replacement.
Scope and Quality, Kept Clear
The core service was defined as BIM architectural work. MEP and structure were outside the scope, so the team's role on any project was clear from the first day.
Quality followed a straightforward loop. Any quality concern was to be raised within seven working days of delivery, and the firm had a direct escalation route to eLogicTech's management team if something needed attention above project level.
Deliverables
- Five designated consultants working as a dedicated team for the firm
- Revit architectural BIM modeling across the firm's projects, delivered remotely
- 3D rendering support from a dedicated specialist who joined the team in February 2026
- Up to 170 hours per consultant per month, with additional hours available when needed
- Team size that could be adjusted with one month's written notice
- All work product owned by the client

Why This Model Works
The firm gets a production team rather than a series of one-off handovers. The commitments are clear on both sides: named people, a fixed monthly allocation, a defined scope and a simple way to grow. Because the consultants work through the month as the firm's own production team, its architects can plan around their capacity the way they would for staff in their own office.
